Saints Row 2 PC?

Before I fell in love with all things Xbox 360 I was dead-set on purchasing Saints Row 2 for the PC. Over the past few months most of the Saints Row 2 buzz has related to either the PS3 or Sbox 360 versions of the game, and it wasn't until I read an article on StrategyInformer that I realised the PC version isn't due out this Friday (17th October 2008).
When StrategyInformer asked THQ, they were told;
“The PC version hasn't actually been dated at all so I can't actually comment on whether or not it has been delayed or not.”.
A bit of a shame for PC users, especially if you dont own a Xbox 360 or a PS3.

THQ has put together one last competition before the release of Saints Row 2; a limited edition gold-plated Xbox 360 Elite. The competition is open to residents of France, Germany and the UK, naturally you must be over the age of 18 to apply.

Official Xbox Magazine (OXM) have published a review of Saints Row 2 in their latest issue (See cover art right). They gave the game 9/10 and their "Must By" stamp of approval.
Saints Row 2 Multiplayer Hands-on

IGN and Kotaku both have multiplayer hands-on reviews and the general consensus seems very good. Kotaku's review looks into some of the co-operative play, which sounds excellent. IGN also have a video version of their review;

Saints Row 2 Merchandise & Competition

THQ & Joystick Junkies have teamed up to bring you a new line of Saints Row 2 merchandise. The collection will be available at select retailers from October but if you simply can't wait then you can preorder the clothing from the Joystick Junkies shop.
There are five items of clothing available at the minute but you have the opportunity to add another one to the collection by submitting your T-shirt design. THQ and WorthPlaying.com are teaming up to send one lucky winner off to an undisclosed location in San Francisco, California to playtest Saints Row 2's all-new multiplayer game modes and have their views posted on WorthPlaying.com.
